We are looking for an experienced Executive Director to assist in running and operating a large Early Childhood Center. You will be responsible for staff scheduling, hiring, training, marketing to increase enrollment, and the school's daily operations. The Executive Director will assume full responsibility for the school. A successful Executive Director will lead the way in relationship building with teachers and families and creating a positive team spirit throughout the school. The goal is to ensure every program will be delivered successfully and add the highest possible value to the organization.
Responsibilities
Managing the school, to include human resources, marketing, customer relations, financial systems, quality control, and physical facility.
Assists in daily supervision of staff while modeling and promoting professionalism.
Plan and manage the weekly staff schedule.
Hiring and onboarding new employees as needed.
Assists in recognizing parent concerns, planning a course of action, and responding professionally to parents’ needs.
Develops and actively maintains positive community relationships.
Skills
Proven experience as an executive director or another managerial position
Comprehensive knowledge of child development, appropriate practices, and State Minimum Standards
Knowledge of Procare Systems is a plus
Must be organized, able to multi-task, strategically resolve challenges, efficient, and have a great attitude
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Ability to get a Director's Credential if not obtained already
Early Childhood Classroom or teaching experience
