The Systems Administrator II is responsible for managing and maintaining InfoIMAGE's 24x7 production systems within the organization. This role involves ensuring the smooth operation, availability, and security of all information systems and related services. Additionally, knowledge of Microsoft AD/365, VMWare and networking are required to handle various systems administration tasks related to on-prem and cloud services. Locations: Santa Rosa, CA; San Francisco Bay Area (including San Francisco, South San Francisco, Santa Clara, San Jose, Sunnyvale, Fremont, Alameda, Brisbane, Hayward, Fairfield, San Mateo). Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Management may assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this position at any time due to reasonable accommodations based on business needs. Microsoft AD/365 and VMWare Management

Install, configure, and maintain Microsoft Windows Server operating systems. (VMs or bare metal) Manage and maintain VMWare ESX virtualization infrastructure. Monitor and optimize overall systems performance, resource utilization, and plan capacity accordingly. Apply security patches, updates, firmware upgrades to ensure systems performance, stability, and security. Troubleshoot systems and network related issues from end to end and perform root cause analysis. Manage server roles and features, such as Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, file services, and print services. Manage Microsoft 365 tenant settings, including user provisioning, licensing, and permissions. Monitor and troubleshoot Microsoft 365 services for availability, performance, and security. Implement and enforce security policies and controls within Microsoft 365. Ability to troubleshoot basic networking issues and work with switches, routers, and firewalls. Ability to support on-premises datacenter work, such as racking servers and tracing network cables. Occasional quarterly travel to our Dallas facilities to support systems work is required. Jira tickets management & End Users support

Provide end users systems & software support and resolve issues via Jira ticketing systems. Ensure incoming Jira requests are properly triaged and responded to within the department's service level assessment (SLA). Utilize Jira and Confluence knowledgebase, research & develop technical tips and solutions. Able to compose clear & concise documentation as part of Jira tickets resolutions. Assist users with Microsoft 365 related issues, including email, documents, and desktop applications. Assist walk-up users including assistance with typical hardware troubleshooting. Assist other team members in troubleshooting and repairing failures in office. Able to troubleshoot and assist users remotely either via phone or remote sessions. Able to support shift schedule is required. Security and Compliance

Implement security best practices and guidelines to protect Windows servers, virtual machines, and data. Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and implement appropriate security measures. Ensure compliance with industry regulations, such as HIPAA, GDPR, or SOX. Monitor and respond to security incidents, perform security audits, and assist in forensic investigations. Documentation and Reporting

Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of server and virtualization configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps. Prepare reports on server and virtualization performance, capacity, and security metrics. Provide regular updates and recommendations to management regarding server and virtualization infrastructure improvements. Qualifications, Skills, and Expectations

Bachelor's degree in a technical or engineering field (required); additional certifications are a plus. Relevant certifications, such as MCSA: Windows Server, MCSE: Core Infrastructure, VMWare Certified Professional (VCP), or Microsoft 365 certifications, are a plus. 5 years minimum experience in relevant role or higher. Strong experience in Windows Server administration, including installation, configuration, and maintenance. Proficient in managing Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and Teams. In-depth knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and file/print services. Experience in managing VMWare ESX 7.0/8.0 virtualization infrastructure. Familiarity with virtualization technologies and concepts, such as VMWare vCenter, VMotion, and HA. Understanding of networking concepts, TCP/IP, firewalls, and load balancers. Knowledge of security best practices, vulnerability assessments, and security incident response. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve server and virtualization-related issues in a timely manner. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with team members and end-users. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Participate in on-call escalation rotations for 24x7x365 support; evening, overnight, and weekend, holiday and on-call work may be required. Other relevant duties as assigned by department management. Physical Requirements

On-call 24/7 Ability to commute to the corporate and regional office, as required. Multi-limb and eye-hand coordination Able to stand, bend, reach, stoop, and lift boxes up to 30 lbs.
