Job Description
Baptist Health is the region’s largest not-for-profit healthcare organization, with 12 hospitals, over 28,000 employees, 4,500 physicians and 200 outpatient centers, urgent care facilities and physician practices across Miami-Dade, Monroe, Broward and Palm Beach counties. The Director, Finance Clinical Enterprise, will lead a team of finance professionals with the primary responsibility to work closely with senior leadership and Corporate Finance departments to monitor financial performance. Responsible for overseeing the preparation of financial reports and communication of financial information to the entity's operational leadership, senior executives, and board of directors. Key responsibilities include: Leading a team of finance professionals Overseeing the preparation of financial reports and communication of financial information Preparing the entity's annual budget and continually monitoring performance and forecast actual activity throughout the year Reviewing and approving major capital transactions Overseeing internal controls, identifying issues and risks Requirements include: Bachelor's degree with a major in Finance, Accounting or related field MBA or Masters in Accounting preferred Strong knowledge of healthcare industry, US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and financial controls Excellent written and verbal communication skills Experience in preparing budgets, financial analyses surrounding return on investments and approving financial transactions Baptist Health is an EEO employer, including disability/vets.
