Client Relationship Consultant 2 (Banker) - Seacliff Village, Huntington Beach, CA (20hrs) at U.S. Bank. This role focuses on building relationships with customers through in-person, appointment-based, and virtual interactions to provide financial guidance and promote digital-first banking options. Responsibilities
Build and foster relationships with clients through proactive outreach and follow-up, learning about their financial goals Assess customers' banking needs and present appropriate deposit and loan products and services Open new consumer and business accounts; process service requests; submit credit applications Educate clients on digital and self-service banking products and services Maintain knowledge of consumer and business banking products and services, including digital tools Provide a consistent, optimal client experience, greet clients, and process basic transactions Collaborate with branch team members and partners to serve clients effectively Identify solutions for new and existing clients based on needs and channel preferences Leverage resources and technology to optimize the client experience with accuracy and operational excellence Basic Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent Typically 3–4 years of job-related retail banking experience or a combination of experience and commensurate training Preferred Skills/Experience
Proven ability to build and foster client relationships through proactive outreach and follow-up Effective communication with clients Thorough knowledge of applicable bank policies, procedures and support systems Strong customer service and interpersonal skills Experience with digital products and self-service technologies Ability to identify customer needs with a digital-first mindset Ability to recommend solutions meeting customer needs reactively and proactively Experience in the financial services industry preferred If there's anything we can do to accommodate a disability during any portion of the application or hiring process, please refer to our disability accommodations for applicants. This position requires National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration under the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and Regulation Z.
