Overview

Program Coordinator, Office Of The Provost — UT Southwestern Medical Center. This position works under minimal supervision to support the effective coordination and execution of program or project activities. Responsibilities

Managing complex calendars, coordinating and supporting events, and performing administrative tasks related to recruitment. Developing, cultivating, and maintaining working relationships with internal/external departments/agencies and other organizations associated with and/or receiving benefit from the program. Establishing program goals and objectives and directing program evaluation and quality control activities; developing and/or approving schedules, priorities, and standards for achieving goals. Planning and coordinating special events. Participates in conferences. Presents data and program information. Ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures. Reading literature and attending functions to keep abreast of relevant scientific and technical developments related to the program. May provide supervision to staff members. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications

Education: Bachelor\'s Degree in Business Administration, Health Care Administration, Education/Social Science, or related field Experience: 5 years of experience in the appropriate field, or additional years of experience in lieu of education may be considered Benefits
