Corporate Development Director
to lead mergers and acquisitions initiatives focused on financial institutions. This role will be instrumental in identifying, evaluating, and executing inorganic growth opportunities that align with long-term strategic objectives. You will work cross-functionally with executive leadership, legal, finance, and external advisors to drive deal execution and integration. Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end M&A processes including target identification, valuation, due diligence, deal structuring, negotiation, and post-merger integration. Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of acquisition targets within the financial services sector (banks, credit unions, fintechs, specialty lenders, etc.). Build financial models and conduct strategic analyses to assess potential transactions. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to assess strategic fit and integration risks. Manage relationships with investment banks, consultants, legal counsel, and other external partners. Prepare and present investment memos and recommendations to senior leadership and the board. Monitor industry trends, regulatory developments to inform strategy. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field; MBA or CFA preferred. 8+ years of experience in corporate development, investment banking, private equity, or strategy consulting with a focus on financial institutions. Proven track record of executing M&A transactions from sourcing through integration. Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills. Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities. Deep understanding of the financial services industry, including regulatory and operational nuances. Preferred Experience
Experience with fintech or digital banking acquisitions. Familiarity with regulatory approval processes (e.g., OCC, FDIC, Federal Reserve). Exposure to post-merger integration planning and execution. If there's interest, don't hesitate to apply! Seniority level
