Lead and assess Information Technology (IT) opportunities and risks in the context of banking and capital markets M&A, including integration and separation of platforms, systems, and technology; develop actionable plans and communicate findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Evaluate the technology performance of complex organizations, including front-to-back office systems, and develop strategies for operational efficiency, cost reduction, and digital transformation. Provide program management (IT Integration management office, IT separation management office) and strategic planning to support the integration or separation of IT operations during mergers, acquisitions, or divestitures—especially in areas such as core infrastructure, and risk systems. Oversee offshoring and outsourcing of high-cost IT functions, support renegotiation of key vendor contracts (e.g., trading platforms, cloud services), and identify opportunities to enhance IT governance, cybersecurity, and regulatory compliance. Drive the development and presentation of final deliverables, including technology due diligence reports, integration / separation roadmaps, and IT operating model designs. Lead go-to-market strategies, ensure quality delivery of engagements, and support the development of junior team members. Qualifications

A minimum of eight years external consulting experience for a technology/business consulting firm or a combination of external consulting and technology industry experience, including a track record of driving major IT-related business change, proficiency in IT related M&A integrations/separations, logical strategy development, systems life cycle management, data modeling, and architecture visioning. Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field from an accredited university/college. Proficiency in IT infrastructure best practices and the essential requirements necessary to ensure the successful implementation and maintenance of infrastructure solutions and standards. Deep understanding of the technical requirements needed to design, construct, and manage data center and server room environments, as well as to deploy, manage and maintain information technology solutions, including UNIX servers, Windows servers, Linux servers, SAN, NAS and virtualization. Demonstrated experience developing relationships with senior level clients in a professional services environment with proven revenue results/client satisfaction; able to meaningfully understand client needs and identify applicable service line solutions. Excellent foundational consulting skills: analytical, written and verbal communication, strong executive presence, facilitation and presentation skills. Willingness and ability to travel.
