Kyndryl Consult is the fastest growing business within the organization and instrumental to the company’s strategic growth objectives. We are expanding every day to meet more and more clients and help solve their most challenging technology problems. Today, we are finding that many of these problems are related to unlocking the full value of the cloud. Most of our customers have moved workloads to the cloud, but they are failing to see the full value for many reasons; they haven’t modernized to take advantage of cloud features, they’ve moved workloads that are more efficiently run on premise, or they’ve discovered workloads that are tricky to move. We are expanding our capability to support these clients, and we need leaders on the team!

You will play a key leadership role, working with targeted clients to identify their cloud modernization opportunities and then guiding them through complex consulting engagements and be responsible for creating and positioning strategic change agendas within Kyndryl's largest accounts across the C-suite, spanning the intersection between complex Business and IT customer solutions, transformations that impact across the entire customer Eco-system.

As a Consult Partner, you will have a pivotal role in driving profitable growth, leveraging our comprehensive capabilities to build strong client relationships, and leading your team to success. This role demands a strong presence, industry expertise, and the ability to cultivate relationships with CXO-level clients. Your leadership will be critical in fostering talent development and innovation within the organization.

You will work alongside leadership from a client perspective, from an account team perspective, and from a practice perspective. You’ll be responsible for getting to know our Cloud Modernization and Migration team and understanding their strengths and capabilities. Then working with account teams to identify opportunities where our strengths can help clients succeed.

Responsibilities

Contribute to Profitable Growth: Drive significant financial outcomes through signings and revenue targets; ensure sustained growth and profitability, managing margin expectations and backlog growth; support the identification, pursuit and conversion of a pipeline of business development opportunities; undertake scoping and fee negotiation on engagements, while ensuring profitability and understanding and containing risk.

Client Engagement: Build and maintain deep relationships with client CXOs and be seen as the 'go to' person and trusted advisor by senior executives; lead C-level client interactions and consulting initiatives, deliverables and outputs of a deal engagement; demonstrate credibility and experience to advise and deliver on complex consulting engagements; enhance client satisfaction (Net Promoter Score) and new relationship development; secure client references.

Operational Excellence: Achieve individual and team utilization targets; lead the design of complex engagements and oversee delivery to ensure high performance and customer satisfaction.

Leadership, Management, People: Lead by example; foster a culture of continuous personal and professional development; challenge our people to be curious and innovative; ensure outcomes are commercially focused, value-adding and effectively executed.

Strategic Contribution: Utilize industry and technology expertise to shape and drive the company’s strategic initiatives; align with Kyndryl’s strategic vision; drive external eminence and innovation; proactively develop thought leadership and intellectual capital.

Qualifications

Extensive experience in client engagement and relationship management at the CXO level

Demonstrable ability to build and commercialize relationships with senior executives

Proven track record of leading and executing complex cloud migration and/or modernization projects

Effective financial acumen with experience in driving revenue growth and managing margins

Experience of managing or supporting high-value business development activities with senior stakeholders

Sound personal brand and presence in the industry

Demonstrated ability to innovate and drive change

Compensation

United States (base range): $159,240 to $286,560

Location-specific ranges vary by geography; examples include: California: $175,080 to $343,920; Colorado: $159,240 to $286,560; New York City: $191,040 to $343,920; Washington: $175,080 to $315,240; Washington DC: $175,080 to $315,240

The position may be eligible for Kyndryl’s discretionary annual bonus program, based on performance. If this is a sales commission eligible role, you may participate in a sales commission plan in lieu of the annual discretionary bonus program. Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis.
