American Traveler is hiring an Echo Technologist with 3+ years of healthcare experience, RDCS (ARDMS) or CCI certification, and BLS for a weekday day shift assignment.Job Details•Work in a cardiac diagnostics ECG department specializing in echocardiographic imaging procedures,•Patient population includes adults and may include pediatrics for echo studies,•Procedures performed include routine and advanced echocardiograms, exercise and dobutamine stress tests, pediatric echo, and transesophageal echo,•Uses Epic for electronic documentation and Xcelera system for imaging data,•Day shift, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM,•Rotating call coverage during the week and on weekends with team members,•Role is limited to travelers residing at least 50 miles from the facility,Job Requirements•Minimum of 3 years of previous healthcare experience in cardiac sonography,•Associate's Degree in Ultrasound required,•Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS - ARDMS) OR Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (CCI) certification required,•Current BLS (American Heart Association) required,•Experience with Epic charting system required,•Ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks while coordinating patient flow,•License required if applicable,Additional Information•Responsibilities include performing and critiquing routine and complex echo imaging procedures, maintaining high imaging quality, documenting studies in Epic and Xcelera, and administering contrast when indicated,•Cross-training to other cardiovascular divisions may be required,•Team-oriented environment with a focus on compassion and continual learning,•All forms of echo testing must be completed efficiently and accurately,•Must provide thirty (30) days advance notice if canceling once assignment has started,•Total time off (RTO) may not exceed seven days per 13-week contract,•Assignment duration limited to one calendar year from initial start date, with a mandatory 30-60 day break before returning,],•hash,:•2218914411337480761,
