Scope The Supply Chain Manager will work closely with Managing Directors in the planning, management and execution of the Supply Chain and Operational initiatives within CMSC and our Clients. The role supports the management of CMSC Client supply chains including purchasing, procurement, food & beverage production, logistics, innovation, quality control and project management.
Responsibilities
Lead and execute all aspects of supply chain projects including procurement, production management, supply & demand planning, warehousing, transportation and order management
Purchasing and procurement: establish new vendor/supplier relationships and manage existing relationships with current vendors and suppliers. Source the most sustainable ingredients in the world.
Innovation & Quality Control: provide cost comparison evaluations for new vendors, suppliers and projects. Manage expectations to consistently deliver the highest quality raw materials and finished goods.
Production Management: coordinate production priorities with co-manufacturers to meet stock demands; ensure food safety, people safety & regulatory compliance
Logistics: manage the network of 3PLs as well as the company's own warehouse
Supply & Demand Forecasts: work with the sales and marketing teams to understand demand drivers and create accurate forecasts to ensure proper levels of raw material inventory and finished goods to meet customer demand
Negotiation: effectively negotiate terms with suppliers (packaging and ingredients)
Metrics & Reports: create, maintain and evolve reporting and metrics related to supply chain and operations activities. Use data to tell a story
Documentation & Organization: create, manage and implement standard operating procedures for CMSC and our Clients
People & Relationship Management: the ability to manage external partners and build successful internal and external relationships is a critical element of this role

Essential Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree
3+ years of experience in the food and beverage industry
CPG supply chain management background in food or beverage industry highly preferred (3+ years)
Strong planning and organizational skills along with excellent interpersonal, written/oral communication, and presentation skills
Full competence with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word) with advanced Excel skills
Proven ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
Must have the ability to be successful in conditions which include multiple and sometimes conflicting priorities, extended work schedules and demanding deadlines; demonstrated ability to excel in a hands-on, fast paced entrepreneurial environment
