A global manufacturing organization is seeking an experienced Director to lead and optimize its logistics, warehousing, and transportation operations across international markets. This role will drive transformational change, ensuring cost-effective, efficient, and compliant movement of materials, components, and finished goods. This position will spearhead strategic initiatives to enhance supply chain agility, mitigate risks, and improve service levels while maintaining compliance with industry regulations and internal policies. Base pay range
$180,000.00/yr - $250,000.00/yr Key Responsibilities
Lead and mentor a global logistics team, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement. Oversee domestic and international logistics operations to ensure timely and cost-effective movement of goods. Champion automation and digital technologies to enhance warehouse productivity, accuracy, and throughput. Manage global inventory practices to support demand planning and fulfillment efficiency. Build and maintain strong partnerships with third-party logistics (3PL) providers and freight forwarders to ensure service excellence. Monitor regulatory environments and trade compliance requirements, adjusting logistics strategies proactively. Develop and manage global logistics and warehousing budgets, ensuring fiscal accountability and identifying cost-saving opportunities. Design and implement long-term logistics and transportation strategies that support business growth and operational scalability. Establish and track performance metrics, dashboards, and reporting tools to evaluate operational success and identify areas for improvement. Qualifications
15+ years of experience in global logistics, warehousing, and transportation within a manufacturing environment. 5+ years of leadership experience in supply chain/logistics. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or related field (Master's/MBA preferred). CLTD Certification (Certified in Logistics, Transportation and Distribution). Trade compliance, customs regulation, and risk management. Experience with warehouse management methods including EPLs. Strong understanding of scaling global logistics and risk management. Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills. Strong analytical and project management capabilities. Ability to travel as required. Estimated compensation
Estimated Compensation range: $180,000 - $250,000 + annual bonus. Individual pay within this salary range is determined by several factors, including performance, knowledge, job-related skills and experience, and relevant education or training.
