Overview
Cadrex is searching for a Director of Logistics who will be responsible for overseeing and managing all logistics operations, including inbound and outbound transportation, warehouse management, distribution, and freight optimization. This role ensures the efficient, cost-effective, and timely movement of goods to meet customer requirements and organizational objectives. Responsibilities
Develop and implement logistics strategies to support manufacturing and distribution operations Manage inbound and outbound transportation to ensure on-time delivery and optimal freight costs Oversee warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory control, picking, and shipping Collaborate with procurement, production, and customer service teams to coordinate logistics planning and execution Select and manage relationships with third-party logistics providers, carriers, and freight forwarders Monitor logistics performance metrics and drive continuous improvement in cost, service, and delivery Ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards, including DOT, OSHA, and import/export laws Implement and manage logistics systems and technologies (e.g., WMS, TMS) to enhance operational efficiency Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for all logistics processes Lead, coach, and develop the logistics team to support performance, safety, and growth objectives Qualifications
8+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain roles within a manufacturing environment preferred Strong knowledge of logistics operations, transportation management, and warehouse systems Experience with Import/Export compliance Experience with logistics software (e.g., WMS, TMS, ERP systems) Proven leadership skills and experience managing teams Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills Effective communication and interpersonal abilities Knowledge of international shipping and customs regulations is a plus Education
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field preferred Location
Remote with Travel as needed Schedule
