Overview Growth Marketing Manager - User Acquisition at onXmaps, Inc. This role is an individual contributor responsible for executing user acquisition (UA) campaigns across mobile and web channels. You’ll manage performance campaigns, analyze results, and help implement strategies to drive efficient growth across onX business lines. This role will mainly focus on our Hunt app, with the potential to support other onX products as needs evolve.

This role is ideal for someone who is hands-on, detail-oriented, and passionate about performance marketing. You’ll focus on channel execution, testing, and optimization, contributing meaningfully to the success of our UA programs.

Responsibilities

Execute and Optimize UA Campaigns

Manage paid acquisition campaigns across mobile and web platforms, such as Meta, TikTok, Google App Campaigns, etc.

Support Budget Management

Work with Sr. UA Managers to manage channel budgets and pacing.

Analyze campaign efficiency and make tactical recommendations to improve efficiencies and returns.

Data-Driven Execution

Build and maintain reports using tools such as Excel, Looker Studio, or Tableau.

Translate campaign performance data into actionable insights.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Partner with Creative, Product Marketing, and Vertical teams to deliver assets and align on campaign priorities.

Collaborate with peers across the Growth team to share learnings and ensure campaign execution is aligned with business goals.

Channel Testing and Creative Iteration

Work with creative teams to test and learn from different ad formats, messaging, and audience strategies.

Run A/B tests to inform creative direction and targeting improvements.

What You’ll Bring

Three to five (3-5) years of experience in user acquisition, performance marketing, or growth marketing

Hands-on experience running mobile and web campaigns across major channels such as Meta, Google, ASA

Working knowledge of UA analytics and attribution such as MMPs, SKAN

Strong analytical skills and a willingness to dive into data to inform decision making

Detail-oriented, reliable, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment

Solid communication and time management skills

Permanent US work authorization is a condition of employment with onX.

Must be available for travel to a corporate office in Montana bi-annually.

Corporate Offices: onX was founded in Montana with offices in Missoula and Bozeman. If you prefer to work in an office at least part of the time, this is a great option.

Basecamps: onX's Basecamps are established virtual workforce communities where a sizable number of distributed team members group for work, volunteering, socializing, and adventure.

Our current Basecamps are located within a 90-mile radius of the following: Austin, TX; Denver, CO; Kalispell, MT; Minneapolis, MN; Portland, OR; Salt Lake City, UT; and Seattle, WA.

Connection Hubs: onX's Connection Hub locations are smaller, emerging communities of distributed team members.

Our current Connection Hubs are located within a 60-mile radius of the following: Boise, ID; Charleston, SC; Charlotte, NC; Dallas/Fort Worth, TX; Phoenix, AZ; Richmond, VA; Spokane, WA; the Bay Area of California, and Vermont.

How You’ll Be Compensated onX is committed to compensating all employees fairly and equitably for their contributions. For this position, applicants can expect to make between 93,000 to 115,000 upon hire. The pay range will vary based on experience, skills, certifications, and education among other factors as required in the job description. In addition, full-time onX employees are eligible for a grant of common share options with a vesting schedule and a potential annual bonus of 10% based on company performance.
