Travel Echo Technologist / Cardiac Sonographer - Echo/Cardiac

American Traveler is seeking an Echo Technologist/Cardiac Sonographer with at least 2 years recent specialty experience and ARDMS or RDCS certification.Job Details•Provide echocardiography services in a hospital setting with potential floating across five hospitals within the skillset,•Day shift schedule, working 5x8 hour shifts from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM,•Every third weekend and every other holiday required,•No call required,•Patient population includes adult and geriatric cardiac cases,•Patient ratios when floated to PCU are 1:5+ and 1:6 when floated to MS/tele units,•Floating is based on staffing needs, census, and circumstances,Job Requirements•Minimum 2 years of recent experience in cardiac sonography within the last 12 months,•Current ARDMS or RDCS certification required,•All required state licenses and national certifications must be in hand at time of application; pending licenses are not accepted,•COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required with no exemptions,•Must pass a Dysrhythmia Test during orientation on a PC within two attempts,•License required if applicable,Additional Information•Expected to float to other units such as PCU, ICU, MS/tele, and provide coverage based on unit needs,•Responsible for monitoring telemetry when floated to appropriate units,•Completion of orientation modules and required lab work within 48 hours of signing,•Travelers will be fit tested prior to working and must be clean shaven,•No block scheduling permitted,•RTO (requested time off) must be included at the time of application; no time off allowed within the first week,•First-time travelers are accepted but not preferred,•Travelers within 50 miles of the primary hospital will be considered at a lower rate,],•hash,:•18177065724170066136,
