American Traveler is seeking an MRI Technologist with at least 1 year of experience, ARRT and BLS certifications, and proficiency in advanced MRI/MRA imaging techniques.Job Details•Work in a transplant facility and primary stroke center with a heavy emphasis on MRI and MRA procedures,•Patient population includes adult acute care, adult ICU, outpatient, ER/trauma, and occasional pediatric acute care,•Specialized imaging includes abdominal, pelvic, head and neck, musculoskeletal, chest, spine, and cardiovascular studies,•Equipment used includes GE and Siemens MRI scanners and PACS systems,•Utilizes Epic EMR, previous Epic experience required,•Day shift schedule: Saturday to Monday, 3x12 hours, 7:00 AM to 7:29 PM,•No call requirement,•Floating may be required within the facility and to outpatient settings as needed,Job Requirements•Minimum of 1 year MRI technologist experience,•Current ARRT (MR or R) and BLS certification required,•Experience with advanced imaging techniques, contrast administration, and peripheral IV starts preferred,•Experience with acute care, trauma, and teaching hospital settings preferred,•Two supervisory references from manager level or above are highly preferred for consideration,•GA or Compact state license must be active and in hand at time of consideration,•Proficiency with Epic charting system required,•License required if applicable,Additional Information•Perform a wide range of advanced MRI/MRA studies including angiography and venography, diffusion imaging, and multiplanar reconstruction,•Quality assurance and accuracy of imaging geometry required,•Must be able to work at least one or both major holidays during contract depending on schedule coverage,•Return travelers must have been away from facility for at least one year or have completed one successful assignment elsewhere if previously unable to return,•No blocked scheduling; flexible scheduling is required,•Up to 7 days of requested time off allowed, but not during the first week or on holidays as per policy,•Completion of required modules and full compliance prior to start is mandatory for on-time orientation,•Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers,•Travel pairs are not allowed to work the same shift on the same unit,],•hash,:•11141274612515569832,
