Key responsibilities

  • Design, implement, document, and secure RESTful APIs using C# and .NET Core.
  • Design and optimize SQL Server schemas, queries, migrations, and performance.
  • Deploy, operate, and troubleshoot services in Azure (App Services, Functions, AKS, Storage, Key Vault, etc.).
  • Containerize apps with Docker and contribute to CI/CD pipelines and Git workflows.
  • Write automated tests, participate in code reviews, and maintain operational runbooks/monitoring.
  • Collaborate with product, design, and cross-functional teams to deliver features securely and reliably.

Required qualifications

  • 3+ years building production apps with C# and .NET Core.
  • Solid experience designing, developing, and securing APIs (authn/authz, input validation, logging).
  • Practical Azure experience and strong SQL Server knowledge (indexes, stored procedures, query tuning).
  • Familiar with Git-based workflows and Docker containerization.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently on a remote team.
  • Must live on the U.S. East Coast and be available for ET overlap.

Preferred (nice-to-have)

  • Experience with Power BI or Dynamics 365.
  • Kubernetes (AKS), Terraform/Bicep, or other IaC tools.
  • OAuth2/OpenID Connect, API gateways, and observability tools (Application Insights, Prometheus, Grafana).
