Job Title: ICU Registered Nurse (Travel/Locum Tenens) Unit: Intensive Care Unit (ICU), with floating to Medical Surgical, IMCU, Emergency Department (ED), Operating Room (OR), and Maternity as needed Shift: 12-hour night shifts Hours per Week: 36 Assignment Duration: 4 weeks (Start: 8/25/2025 - End: 9/22/2025) Weekend/Holiday: Every other weekend; holiday coverage required Orientation: 3 days Documentation System: EPIC Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $2100-$2250 ICU Registered Nurse Qualifications Active New York Registered Nurse (RN) license or proof of application with applied date Minimum 1 year of recent ICU nursing experience Previous travel nursing experience preferred Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS & ACLS certifications NIH Stroke Scale certification EPIC electronic medical record experience within the past 2 years (required) Reliable personal or rental vehicle (no public transportation available) Ability to float to Medical Surgical, Telemetry, Emergency Department, and other units as needed ICU Nurse Responsibilities Deliver high-quality, compassionate critical care to ICU patients Float to Medical Surgical, IMCU, ED, OR, and Maternity units as required Perform unit-specific procedures: IV starts, venipuncture, EKGs, weaning from high flow oxygen, and more Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams, including respiratory therapists and advanced practice providers Utilize EPIC for clinical documentation and Pyxis for medication management Adhere to hospital protocols, dress code, and safety standards Participate in orientation and ongoing clinical training Provide patient-centered care for all age groups (pediatric to geriatric) Apply now to join our healthcare team as a travel ICU Registered Nurse in Malone, NY, and take the next step in your nursing career!
