Project Engineer

directs and coordinates exercises functional authority for planning, organization, control, integration, and completion of engineering projects for the plant or within the area of assigned responsibility. This is achieved by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors. Key Responsibilities of the Role

Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and with successful attainment of objectives. Complete specific phases of the project such as technical studies, product design, specifications, technical plans, and product testing. Coordinate activities related to technical developments, scheduling, and resolving engineering design and test problems. Control expenditures within the project budget limitations. Prepare interim and final project reports. Provide technical support to factories to minimize production and maintenance issues. Apply engineering expertise to equipment design, problem-solving, and quality improvement. Participate in committees or task forces to contribute to company goals. Support PRC and key projects as a technical advisor or project manager. Promote TQM principles by establishing requirements and process maps to meet customer requirements and ensure quality 'right the first time'. Develop project scope, justification, and assess factory or company impact. Prepare appropriation requests including cost estimates, savings, and timing plans. Manage cost controls, asset controls, and scheduling controls. Hire and supervise contractors, potentially overseeing up to 50 personnel across various trades. Maintain a strong backup of technical files, vendor contacts, and engineering groups for new packaging methods or technology identification. Evaluate, plan, and implement approved projects under the guidance of the Engineering, Project Review Committee, or Management Board. Participate actively in cost reduction and production improvement initiatives, developing projects for cost and quality enhancements. Analyze and prepare requests for capital improvements and replacements, organizing data for future capital planning. Maintain high interpersonal skills to interact effectively across disciplines and cultures. Lead capital budgeting efforts, ensuring current needs are met and future requirements are planned for. Analyze and prepare financial requests for capital and operational expenses, including new facilities and equipment upgrades. Qualifications

Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or related field (strongly preferred). 3+ years of experience in full-cycle Project Engineering. Strong background in mechanical, hydraulic systems, packaging, electronics, and electrical systems. Excellent communication skills for technical presentations and reporting. Ability to interpret technical documents, regulations, and instructions. Proficiency in mathematical and statistical analysis techniques. Salary Range:

$88,000 - $110,000 Bonus:

Performance-based, as per plan terms. Compensation varies based on location, knowledge, skills, and experience. Benefits:
