Key Responsibilities of the Role Strong project experience with capital improvement projects. Navigate diverse projects from construction, manufacturing and technology. Experience Designing Equipment to Food and Safety Standards Appropriation preparation including cost estimates, savings, and timing plan. Ensure projects are completed on time within budget or with successful attainment of objectives. Development of project scope, justification, and factory/company impact. Complete specific phases or aspects of the project such as technical studies, product design, preparation of specifications and technical plans and product testing. Coordinate activities concerned with technical developments, scheduling, and resolving engineering design and test problems. Provide functional and technical support to the factories to minimize production and maintenance problems. Prepare interim and completion project reports. Hire and supervise various contractors in the scope of project manager. This may encompass all project areas and total up to 20 people dispersed among distinct trades. Apply engineering expertise to equipment design, problems solving, and quality improvement. Electro-Mechanical engineering experience with conveyors, robots, cobots, and mechanisms Part Design Experience with Sheet Metal, Plastics, Elastomers Allen Bradley PLC Experience and system design Power Transmission and conveyor design principles HVAC with understanding of performance selecting fans, motors, and drives Refrigeration design principles and experience with R717. PSM experience a plus. Create schematics and P&ID. Audit existing systems and assets and update documentation. Perform risk identification with PHA, DFMEA and PFMEA Process Control Experience and Six Sigma training Cost Reduction/Production Improvement; Participate in company efforts to reduce operational costs and improve finished quality attributes. Develop projects to initiate cost cutting/quality improving techniques or equipment. Strong communicator and comfortable working with teams. Collaborate with Continuous Improvement, Facilities, Utilities, Quality, and Production. Possess a high level of interpersonal skills to efficiently interact with individuals from varying work disciplines and cultural backgrounds. Qualifications

Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from an accredited engineering school or related field is strongly preferred. 5+ years of experience in or full cycle Project Engineering. Strong background in mechanical and electrical systems as they relate to a manufacturing environment and high-speed production equipment for food products. Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to integrate safety considerations into product design, manufacturing processes, and new equipment installations. Strong communication skills are required for presentations to factory staff on technical issues or specific project activity. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from team members. Ability to apply mathematical operations to tasks such as frequency distribution, test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory, and factor analysis. Ability to travel when needed. New Hire Base Salary Range: $88,000.00 - $110,000.00 Bonus:

This position is eligible for a performance-based bonus as provided by the plan terms and governing documents. The compensation offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
