Job Description
We are looking for fun and energetic
Assistant Teachers
for our school.
This position is also responsible for:
Preparing morning and afternoon snack
Ensuring kitchen is in compliance with Goddard's industry-leading Quality Assurance standards
Assisting classroom teachers
Daily Responsibilities
Our Assistant Teachers work together with lead teachers to:
Meeting the individual needs of the children
Parent communication
Participation in staff and training meetings
Interacting with the children to support play, exploration, and learning
Presenting expectations that are appropriate to the child’s age and developmental level
Communicating appropriately and professionally with parents and fellow staff
Building teamwork
Committing to continuing education

Job Requirements
Available between 8:00am and 5:00pm
Teacher Qualifications:
Minimum of MSDE-OCS Teacher requirements (45- 90 hour training) prefered
Prior classroom experience
Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices
Strong written and communication skills
