Radiation Therapist

- We are looking for both new graduates and experienced therapists to be part of our outpatient clinic and contribute to our journey of excellence. This role involves performing prescribed radiation therapy treatments following department policies, procedures, and professional standards. It includes patient assessment, care, and treatment planning. Pay & Benefits: Compensation:

$44.09 to $70.54 hourly, based on experience and education Retention Bonus:

Responsibilities: Perform radiation treatments per provider orders, verifying and applying learned methodologies. Educate patients and families about procedures, demonstrating professionalism and fostering teamwork. Operate treatment equipment, prepare treatments, and document accurately. Perform quality control, troubleshoot equipment, and maintain safety standards, including ALARA principles. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical, legal, and professional standards. Ensure efficient department workflow and provide excellent service to all customers. Qualifications: Associate degree in radiation oncology or related field, with national certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and state licensure if applicable. BLS certification is required. Knowledge of clinical techniques, equipment, and safety practices. Effective communication and human relations skills are essential. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Previous radiation therapy experience is preferred.
