Assist in the efficient operation of the campus ELL department. Work under general supervision to provide clerical assistance and translator for the department and campus faculty.

Demonstrated aptitude for work to be performed Successful experience in working with children Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the administration might find appropriate and acceptable Experience:
Major Responsibilities and Duties: Helps prepare and maintain LEP folders to ensure state and federal compliance. Prepare written correspondence, forms, schedules, reports, records and minutes of the ELL department. Translates records from non-English speaking countries Translator for students, parents, and faculty Assists with supervision of students when deemed appropriate. Performs other duties as superintendent may assign.

Provide professional communication with students, parents, community members, staff and other professionals at all times. Use proper phone etiquette at all times, speaking slowly and clearly. Take reliable messages, and route to appropriate staff. Ensure superior customer care skills are used via eye contact, facial expressions, voice inflections, body language, and an attitude of "going the extra mile" for others. Ensure all requests for information are dealt with in an appropriate timeframe. Create and maintain a welcoming, service-oriented environment toward all internal and external customers.
