Maintains and monitors the position control processes for the District. This position serves as a liaison to Human Resources, Budget staff and Payroll

Qualifications:

Education/Certification:

High school diploma or GED Special Knowledge/Skills:

Ability to use software to develop spreadsheets and databases Ability to perform basic math Knowledge of school district budgeting and accounting procedures Efficient organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines Proficient in keyboarding, 10-key numerical data entry, and file maintenance Effective communication and interpersonal skills Experience:

2 years of data entry, clerical, and database maintenance experience Experience with the Skyward Software Program, preferred Major Responsibilities and Duties:

Create and maintain the district's position control system within the personnel budgeting module to ensure that each current position and new position are properly budgeted. Verify the correct number of positions are budgeted, coded correctly and properly approved Collaborate with department directors and principals to ensure PIC codes are allocated correctly to ensure compliance with minimum spend requirements Work with campus and department leaders on the accuracy of data maintained in position control Work with campus and department leaders to ensure all forms are submitted to Human Resources when corrections are necessary Knowledge of PEIMS procedures and practices Collaborate with Human Resources and Payroll for budget code changes based upon personnel action forms/transfer information Performs budget functions involving position control, including elimination and creation of positions for the next fiscal year. Salary: Pay Grade AS06, $28.80 - $31.90 hourly rate, commensurate with experience according to District salary schedule.
