Overview Biotech Business Development Director, Bioanalytical (ASD) -US, Remote role at Thermo Fisher Scientific. This position leads the Biotech Business Development Leads for Bioanalytical services within the Analytical Services Division (ASD) and reports to the Vice President, Business Development, Bioanalytical and Vaccines. The goal is to drive authorizations and revenue growth with existing Biotech accounts and to develop new Biotech accounts to expand share of wallet. Lead the Biotech BD team for Bioanalytical services, driving revenue growth with existing Biotech accounts and developing new Biotech accounts. Bioanalytical sits within the ASD. This role reports to the Vice President, Business Development, Bioanalytical and Vaccines and aims to grow share of wallet with new Biotech accounts. Expand the network of relationships with external Biotech organizations to drive Bioanalytical growth; build strategic partnerships to support business development objectives. Demonstrate frontline leadership and organizational skills; leverage understanding of the laboratory and Biotech market to achieve a consistent track record of success. Global scope; remote within the United States. ASD’s laboratory services help drive drug development by meeting client needs and enabling therapies to progress. What you will do

Drive Strategy to Action: Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy for the Biotech BD team and targeted accounts; translate value proposition into differentiated action for each Biotech account. Establish Strong Client Rapport: Build and maintain relationships with key clients and senior leaders across Procurement, R&D, and Clinical Development; support BD team progression in Biotech accounts. Deliver Sales Results: Define revenue opportunities, increase market penetration, create Biotech-specific strategies for current and new accounts; assess client satisfaction and drive share of wallet expansion, new business opportunities, and portfolio development globally. Create Strategic Proposal Approach: Partner with functions to develop proposal templates, materials, and processes that align with Biotech accounts; review proposals to refine pitches and improve win rates. Develop Team for Success: Recruit, train, mentor, and lead BD leads; remove barriers; build tools and processes; set performance expectations and address gaps. Monitor and Report Sales Performance: Prepare regular reports on BD activities and results for the VP of Sales, Bioanalytical Laboratory. Job Details
