What will you do? On behalf of the Director, leads and manages initiatives and projects within the Ohio LifeCourse Nexus team, including projects aimed at fostering networking and building community, providing people with information and resources, connecting people to goods and services, and enhancing access and inclusion within services of the developmental disability system. Develops strategies, collaborates with internal and external stakeholders, and drives meaningful change to create an environment that values and respects all people living with developmental disabilities. Manages team and department projects, including development of project plans, timelines, and budgets for initiatives. Monitors project progress, identifies potential obstacles, and implements corrective actions as needed to ensure successful project execution. Coordinates cross-functional teams and allocates resources effectively to achieve project milestones. Approves payment within projects and works with contractors and/or grantees to ensure project deliverables and requirements are being met; contributes to development of comprehensive Ohio LifeCourse Nexus Strategy that aligns mission, goals, and values, incorporating strategies to enhance outcomes for all families and people with developmental disabilities; collaborates with senior leadership to establish measurable objectives, key performance indicators, and timelines for initiatives; works closely with internal departments, external partners, and community organizations to foster collaboration and gather insights for informed decision-making. Manages a team for developing and implementing projects/initiatives to support the outcomes of projects for both internal and external stakeholders. Works with assigned staff to identify specific tasks and resources for each project/initiative, internal &/or external planning team members, manages and negotiates revisions to plans, defines scope, and develops short-term and long-term tasks, including timelines to complete projects, implements and evaluates effectiveness of the project. Guides, manages, and administers personnel actions for assigned staff who provide person served and family resources, outreach and advocacy policy work. Makes recommendations for hire, assigns and reviews work, provides feedback, established goals, monitors and evaluates performance, approves/disapproves leave requests, recommends disciplinary action. Qualifications 3 yrs. exp. in project management (i.e., management & development of project/program requirements, design, development, testing/pilot, training & full scale implementation), with experience to be commensurate with project/program &/or position description on file (e.g., specific human service program area, management information sciences, fiscal); 12 mos. exp. in budgeting & calculating cost projections of program/projects. -Or successful completion of 2 yrs. post-secondary education majoring in business administration, public administration, computer science/information technology, social science, or health, with major being commensurate with project to be assigned; 12 mos. exp. in budgeting & calculating cost projections of program/projects. -Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications for Employment noted above.

The final candidate selected for the position will be required to undergo a criminal background check. Hourly wage will be paid at step 1, unless otherwise specified by collective bargaining agreement or rules outlined in the ORC/OAC.
