The Company is seeking a GSP Trade Monitoring Senior Lead Analyst - SVP to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be at the forefront of the First Line of Defense, with a primary focus on monitoring trading activity for potential market abuse. This role is pivotal within the Global Markets Non-Financial Risk group, particularly in the area of Conduct Risk. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial services, particularly within Global Spread Products, and a deep understanding of MAR (Market Abuse Regulation) related behaviors. The role involves actively analyzing and dealing with market abuse alerts, as well as supporting the design and implementation of trade monitoring to ensure compliance with global regulations.
Applicants for this role at the company should possess relevant work experience in financial services, with a preference for those with a background in Global Spread Products trading or surveillance. Proficiency in MS Excel, SQL, and Python, or other C-based coding, is a plus. The role requires clear and concise communication, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to develop and implement strategy and process improvement initiatives. A Bachelor's degree is required, with a Master's degree being preferred. The candidate will be expected to collaborate with various internal areas, including Legal, Compliance, Operations, Technology, and Business Management, to deliver the necessary controls and support data quality processes for transaction monitoring.
