Base pay range
$150,000.00/yr - $200,000.00/yr
Additional compensation types
Annual Bonus and Sign-on bonus
Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee all aspects of the firm’s tax operations with a hands-on approach
- Manage preparation and review of a broad mix of individual, business, and trust/estate returns
- Supervise, mentor, and develop tax staff while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across engagements
- Partner with leadership to drive modernization efforts, including new technology adoption
- Build and maintain strong client relationships by providing proactive advisory support and responsive service
- Contribute to firm growth by creating structure, streamlining processes, and positioning the practice for long-term success
Qualifications
- Masters of Tax or LLM Tax, preferred
- 10-15 years of tax experience in a manager-level role at a small or mid-sized CPA firm
- Strong experience with individual, partnership, S-Corp, and trust returns
- Entrepreneurial mindset, someone hungry to grow the practice, create structure, and help grow the firm
- Prior experience with ProSystem and UltraTax
- Strong technical and communication skills
