Overview
Ram Realty Advisors LLC ("Ram") is a real estate investment management firm specializing in multifamily, mixed-use, and grocery-anchored retail in select high-growth markets throughout the Southeast. Responsibilities
- Oversee property acquisitions, dispositions, and financings working with team members and outside counsel.
- Prepare draft contracts, access and confidentiality agreements, listing agreements and closing documents for commercial acquisitions, dispositions and financings.
- Prepare corporate resolutions and consents.
- Assist developers with compliance and/or submission of various permitting documentation.
- Summarize contract, loan, title and entity documentation as needed for team members and General Counsel.
- Prepare summaries of post-closing obligations for acquisitions, dispositions and loan closings.
- Work with environmental consultants and environmental counsel to review and finalize the annual Brownfield Agreement forms and DSCA certifications for NC assets.
- Work with the legal associate and paralegal to maintain legal department electronic files for all Ram properties in an effort to continually minimize the necessity for paper files.
- Work with legal associate on the preparation of SEC compliance forms including Form ADV and Form PF.
- Work with Chief Financial Officer, General Counsel and outside counsel with the formation, finalization and negotiation of real estate fund documents.
- Assist General Counsel with the management and oversight of property and liability insurance claims.
Requirements
- Juris doctorate degree, Florida Bar license and at least 7 years of commercial real estate legal experience.
- Demonstrated proficiency in all legal aspects of commercial real estate transactions from acquisition, financing through disposition.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word; working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Excel; general computer literacy.
