Sourcing Manager
Responsibilities: Lead all activities related to the sourcing of precious and non-precious metals, including all service-related needs to support operations. This includes raw material sourcing, shield cleaning, and reclaiming activities. Manage and nurture supplier relationships to ensure the on-time supply of materials and services that meet Qorvos operational objectives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Operations, Supplier Quality, Process Engineering, etc.) to manage any challenges related to supporting the day-to-day needs of the business. Meet or exceed cost savings objectives as directed by senior leadership Negotiate contracts with suppliers to ensure optimal cost, quality and delivery terms. Monitor commodity trends and market conditions for strategic sourcing opportunities. Identify and manage commodity risks, including pricing volatility, geopolitical challenges and potential supply disruptions. Maintain communications with supply base; ensure requirements and expectations are provided to suppliers and convey feedback to internal stakeholders Represent the local manufacturing organization on corporate commodity teams and participate in the development and implementation of strategies. Assist in developing and/or standardizing procurement processes aimed at reducing complexity and improving efficiency. Monitor the performance of suppliers and procurement activities, maintain metrics, prepare and present reports to management team.
Required Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field 8+ years of experience (or equivalent combination of advanced degree and experience) in procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply chain Experience in Category Management and working with cross-functional teams Experience executing category strategies to optimize cost, quality, and supplier performance Experience monitoring supplier performance and drive continuous improvement through data analysis and procurement metrics Prior experience with Microsoft Suite and ERP systems Excellent negotiation and communication skills Ability to multi-task and manage changing targets and goals Must be willing to travel up to 10 percent of the time
Preferred Qualifications: Masters degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field Industry certifications such as CPSM, CPIM, or CSCP Category management experience in the semiconductor, electronics, or equipment manufacturing industry Experience as a category manager for precious metals Prior experience working with SAP strongly preferred
