Reach-Forklift Operator
Automation Personnel Services is seeking a skilled Reach-Forklift Operator for a well-established manufacturing company in Dalton, GA. This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-growing organization that prioritizes safety, values teamwork, and supports long-term career growth.
Shift:
Day: 8AM-8PM swing shift
Night: 8PM-8AM swing shift
Pay Rate $18-$19/hr
Reach-Forklift Operator Duties and Responsibilities
Operate forklifts safely and efficiently, following company policies and procedures.
Load and unload materials from racks and other storage areas, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
Transport materials to designated locations within the facility.
Inspect and maintain forklifts regularly, reporting any issues or malfunctions to the appropriate personnel for repair.
Always follow safety regulations and guidelines, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment and securing loads properly.
Reach-Forklift Qualifications and Requirements
- Ability to understand and follow safety protocols and operating instructions to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Attention to detail and good hand-eye coordination to maneuver equipment in tight spaces and navigate busy warehouse environments.
- Ability to stand for the entirety of the shift- needed to operate reach.
- Min. 5 years reach experience
- Forklift testing with the company prior to placement is required.
