Michigan Nursing Job Details Location: Owosso, Michigan 48867 Healthcare Setting: Med/Surg Telemetry Unit Job Type: Locum Tenens Travel RN Start Date: September 8, 2025 End Date: December 8, 2025 Contract Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM) (12 Hour Nights) Hours: 36 hours per week (Guaranteed) Shifts per week: 3 Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend Estimated Weekly Salary: $1680-$1800 per week Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Michigan RN license Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg nursing experience Experience floating to Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Proficient in telemetry; able to read and interpret heart rhythms Must pass dysrhythmia test prior to assignment ACLS and BLS certifications (AHA required) COVID-19 vaccination required (exemptions allowed) Submit work history, current skills checklist (within 1 year), and 2 supervisory references RN Job Responsibilities Provide patient care using the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation Develop and update individualized care plans based on patient assessments Offer compassionate emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients and families Educate patients and families on medical conditions, medications, and self-care skills Follow therapeutic standards and hospital policies to ensure quality care Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to address patient needs Maintain continuity of care through accurate documentation and communication Delegate tasks and supervise team members for optimal patient outcomes Respond to changes in patient status with appropriate clinical interventions Participate in ongoing education, staff meetings, and performance improvement initiatives Demonstrate commitment to patient safety and infection control protocols Provide age-appropriate care and support hospital mission, vision, and values Discover rewarding Michigan nursing jobs and grow your healthcare career in Owosso.
