Key Job Details - Med/Surg Telemetry RN Location: Farmville, VA 23901 (Virginia healthcare jobs) Assignment Length: 13 weeks (9/22/2025 - 12/20/2025) Healthcare Setting: Med/Surg Telemetry Unit Nursing Shift: 12-hour nights; every other weekend required Hours per Week: 36 Estimated Weekly Salary: $1680-$1800 Orientation: Every other Monday Float: Not required Registered Nurse Qualifications Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience Prior travel nursing experience required Active Virginia RN License or Compact State RN License BLS certification required ACLS and NIH Stroke Scale certifications preferred Proficient in reading telemetry strips and caring for orthopedic patients Submit all requested time off with application COVID/Flu vaccination or approved declination required Local candidates within 60 miles are not eligible RN Responsibilities - Med/Surg Telemetry Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in the Med/Surg Telemetry unit Monitor and interpret telemetry strips for cardiac patients Provide clinical support to orthopedic patients Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams and mentor students/new hires Accurately document patient care and maintain compliance with hospital policies Work scheduled 12-hour night shifts, including every other weekend Apply now to join our healthcare team in Farmville, VA and take the next step in your travel nursing career!
