Travel RN - Labor & Delivery

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor and Delivery position requiring recent L&D experience, multiple certifications, and night shift availability.Job Details•Hospital-based Labor and Delivery unit with postpartum/couplet care,•Night shift position with 3x12 hour shifts, 19:00-07:30,•Nurse-patient ratio is 1:2 for L&D and 1:8 for postpartum/couplets,•Floating to other units required as per hospital policy and experience,•On-call required for 2 shifts every 6 weeks,•Weekend work required every other weekend or two weekends per month,•Cerner EMR system in use, experience is preferred but not required,Job Requirements•Active RN license (TN or compact) in hand at time of consideration,•Minimum 2 years of recent experience in labor and delivery,•Certifications required: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), AWHONN, NIHSS, NRP, and FHM,•Travel RN experience required,•All certifications and licensure must be valid and not expire within 45 days of start date,Additional Information•Duties include managing laboring patients, mother/baby couplets, and postpartum care,•Travelers must not request holiday or holiday week RTO; RTO requests during holidays are not permitted,•Time off requests must not occur within 14 days of start date and may not exceed 7 days,•Former perm staff cannot return to the same campus within 24 months; may return to other campuses after 12 months,•Travelers who are related or married cannot work on the same unit,•Orientation includes non-billable modules completed during onboarding and annually,•Local candidates accepted at a lower rate and must live more than 75 miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay,),•hash,:• ,
