Travel RN - Labor & Delivery

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor and Delivery night shift position requiring three years of experience and key certifications including ACLS, BLS, AWHONN Intermediate, and NRP.Job Details•Labor and Delivery unit in a hospital setting,•Night shift, 4x12 hours (19:00-07:30), option for 36 or 48 hours per week,•Patient population consists of laboring women and newborns,•Required to work 4-6 weekend shifts within every 6-week schedule,•Travelers may be expected to float to like units within scope as needed,•Epic charting experience is preferred,•Scrubs are provided,Job Requirements•Active NM or Compact RN license required at time of consideration,•Minimum 3 years of Labor and Delivery RN experience required,•Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, and NRP,•Epic EMR experience preferred but not required,•Travelers who were former perm staff must be gone at least 1 year before returning as a traveler,•Local candidates within 50 miles are not accepted,Additional Information•Responsible for providing comprehensive care to laboring mothers and newborns,•First time travelers are welcome to apply,•Must complete onsite modules and orientation prior to starting shifts,•No travel pairs or groups accepted for this position,•RTO (requested time off) rules: maximum 3 days auto-approved, no RTO permitted during first week of orientation,•Average of 4-6 orientation hours required for RNs,•Brief orientation provided if floated to alternate units,),•hash,:• ,
