Travel RN - Operating Room

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Operating Room RN for an 8-hour night shift contract requiring current EPIC experience and proficiency with a broad range of surgical cases.Job Details•Position is in the Operating Room with 10 ORs in a hospital setting,•8-hour night shifts from 22:45 to 07:15 with morning huddle at 06:45,•No floating required but potential reassignment based on qualifications and experience,•Call rotation required, with one 24-hour call on a recognized holiday per contract,•Surgical cases include general, ortho, joint, urology, endoscopy, trauma, Da Vinci robot, bariatrics, OBGYN, ENT, cataracts/retina, vascular (thrombectomy), and c-section,•Staff meetings are held during the 4th week of every month,•EPIC is the charting system used and experience within the past 6 months is required,Job Requirements•Active NC or compact state RN license required,•Current AHA BLS certification must be attached for consideration,•Minimum of 2 years of recent OR experience with a successful prior travel assignment,•Must have experience in all service lines listed, including cataracts/retina, vascular (thrombectomy), and c-sections,•Must be comfortable handling emergency situations,•Current experience in EPIC charting within the last 6 months is required,•Professional should be resilient, adaptable, and work well in a collaborative, positive environment,Additional Information•Responsibilities include circulating on a wide variety of complex surgical cases and participating in call rotation,•Must attend a five-day orientation with five 8-hour shifts,•Hospital provides scrubs for all staff,•Compliance is required 7 business days before the start date,•Expect to work closely with an efficient, collaborative surgical team,•Social, hard-working candidates are preferred,),•hash,:• ,
