We are looking for an experienced HR professional to take full ownership of the Human Resources function. This role involves reviewing and refining our existing policies, managing day-to-day HR needs, ensuring compliance, and serving as a trusted advisor to leadership on all employee-related matters.
Key Responsibilities
Review and update the employee handbook, ensuring compliance and clarity
Oversee recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and offboarding processes
Support employee relations, performance reviews, and disciplinary procedures
Manage benefits, compensation structures, and annual enrollment processes
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation
Provide guidance to leadership on HR policies, culture, and best practices
Assist with employee engagement, retention, and training initiatives
Qualifications
5+ years of HR experience, ideally in a generalist or management role
Strong knowledge of employment law and HR operations
Proven ability to implement and maintain HR policies and procedures
Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
HR certification (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR) is a plus
