Description
At The Social Lights, we're a band of creative and energetic problem solvers who love nothing more than to help brands and individuals powerfully connect to their consumer utilizing the power of social media. In other words, our superpower is transforming social capital into brand equity.
We are looking for an Associate Director of Influence to join our growing Influence team. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone with 5-7 years of influencer marketing experience at an agency who is ready to step up and lead high-profile campaigns. You'll oversee the day-to-day execution of key influencer marketing programs, guide best practices, and shape the future of how our agency delivers in the creator space.
This role is for a doer and leader: someone who can own the strategy and execution, while collaborating with a supporting team member handling administrative, research, and reporting functions. You'll work closely with both clients, cross-agency discipline teams, and internal agency leaders to build compelling influencer programs that drive measurable results.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead day-to-day management and execution of influencer marketing campaigns across multiple clients.
  • Develop creative, strategic approaches to influencer partnerships that deliver measurable client value.
  • Manage end-to-end campaign processes: from ideation and influencer selection through contracting, activation, and reporting.
  • Collaborate with internal teams across content, social media management, social intelligence, and strategy , as well as IAT partners, to integrate influencer efforts into broader marketing programs.
  • Serve as a trusted client partner-building strong relationships, presenting strategies, and delivering recommendations with confidence.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to grow influencer offerings and help shape how campaigns are positioned and sold.
  • Act as a leader on the influencer team, supporting cross-functional agency leadership and representing the discipline in internal and external meetings.
  • Oversee, manage, and mentor junior team members to support execution, research, and reporting.
  • Establish, refine, and scale best practices, processes, and playbooks for influencer marketing across the agency.
  • Stay ahead of creator economy trends, platform updates, and industry innovations to keep the agency at the cutting edge.
*This job description is not designed to cover or encompass a comprehensive listing of required activities, duties, or responsibilities. Specific functions may change, or additional ones may be assigned during the course of employment.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Strong client-facing skills-confident in presenting, relationship management, and problem-solving.
  • Deep knowledge of the influencer/creator landscape across social platforms, categories, and campaign types.
  • Creative thinker with the ability to generate big ideas and translate them into actionable campaign plans.
  • Experience building and refining processes, best practices, and operational efficiencies.
  • Highly proactive, autonomous, and resourceful; thrives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for the creator economy and enthusiasm for innovation in influencer marketing.
