About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President, Controller to join their team. This leadership role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities, including month-end and year-end close, financial reporting, accounts payable, payroll, general accounting, and property and plant equipment. The Vice President, Controller will also be responsible for leading, mentoring, and supporting a team, with a strong focus on professional development and optimizing team structure to meet the organization's needs.
Ideal candidates for the Vice President, Controller position at the company will be recognized subject matter experts in accounting, with a transparent, hands-on, and collaborative leadership style. The role requires the ability to deliver accurate financial information promptly and a preference for familiarity with specific financial management systems. A Bachelor's degree is required, with a Master's degree being preferred, and an active CPA license is also preferred. A minimum of five years of senior-level accounting experience is necessary, with a preference for three years of experience in an integrated delivery system.
