Full-time Press Brake OperatorJob OverviewWe are seeking a skilled and experienced Full-time Press Brake Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining press brake machines to produce high-quality metal components according to specifications. This position requires a combination of technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.Pay: $22-28/hr (DOE)Shift: 1st and 2nd | Monday - Friday ResponsibilitiesOperate press brake machines to bend, form, and shape metal sheets and plates according to blueprints and work ordersSet up and adjust press brake machines for different jobs, including selecting and installing appropriate dies and toolingRead and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions to determine job specificationsPerform precise measurements using various measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gaugesCalculate and apply mathematical formulas to determine bend allowances, angles, and other critical dimensionsInspect finished products for quality, accuracy, and conformance to specificationsTroubleshoot and perform minor repairs on press brake machines as neededMaintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols and proceduresCollaborate with team members and supervisors to optimize production processes and improve efficiencyRequired Skills and Experience:Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Press Brake Operator in a manufacturing environmentProficient in operating various types of press brake machines, including CNC-controlled equipmentStrong ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructionsExcellent shop math skills, including the ability to perform calculations for bend allowances, angles, and dimensionsExperience with TRIG is a PLUS! Experience with different types of metals, including steel, aluminum, and stainless steelFamiliarity with quality control procedures and inspection techniquesKnowledge of safety regulations and procedures related to press brake operationAbility to use precision measuring tools accuratelyStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailExcellent communication and teamwork abilitiesPhysical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periodsHigh school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in metal fabrication is a plus
