Advise clients on their legal rights and draft case-related legal documents Represent clients at pretrial hearings, trials, and other court proceedings Conduct legal research, draft and respond to motions, and develop case strategy Analyze legal precedents to assess potential outcomes of cases Interview witnesses and experts to support defense arguments Prepare clients for depositions and court appearances Accumulate and review evidence to strengthen client defense or challenge prosecution Collaborate with legal team members to strategize case handling Maintain consistent and informed communication with clients Requirements:
Experience managing criminal defense cases at the federal, state, and local levels Proven ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team Strong client service focus and interpersonal communication skills Reliable track record of handling a diverse caseload from inception to trial Education:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school Certifications:
Active membership in good standing with the California State Bar Skills:
Exceptional oral and written advocacy skills Proficient in legal research and drafting legal documents Skilled in trial preparation, witness interviews, and courtroom presentation Strong analytical skills and ability to develop comprehensive defense strategies Ability to manage time effectively in a high-volume environment Benefits:
