American Traveler is seeking an experienced CT Technologist for a busy acute care setting, with at least 2 years of CT experience and BLS certification.Job Details•Work in a dedicated CT department within an acute care environment,•Department utilizes two 2018 Siemens Edge, 128-slice scanners-one in-house and one mobile,•Average volume is 50-60 scans per day covering brain, abdomen/pelvis, chest angio, spines, stroke protocols, extremities, trauma, and interventional studies,•No floating required outside CT; department does not use RRAs,•Uses Meditech Expanse for HIS and GE Centricity for PACS,•Primarily night shifts, typically four 10-hour shifts per week, with flexibility required for coverage on other shifts as needed,•May include weekdays, weekends, and holidays as needed,•Possible backup call requirement with a 30-minute response time,•100-mile radius rule applies for candidate eligibility,Job Requirements•Minimum of 2 years' experience as a CT Technologist,•BLS certification required,•West Virginia license required if applicable,•Preferred ARRT (CT) board certification,•CT experience required, including venipuncture and starting IVs,•Experience with Siemens Edge CT scanners preferred,•Must be able to perform a wide range of CT studies including stroke and trauma protocols,•Driver's license must be unexpired at time of consideration,Additional Information•Radiation badge must be provided by the traveler's agency,•Three-day department-specific orientation provided, with the first day in HR,•Scrubs of any color may be worn; green scrubs are provided for work with Covid patients,•Team includes seven radiologists with both on-site and remote coverage; Nighthawk service used after-hours and weekends,•Holiday and weekend coverage may be required depending on staffing needs,],•hash,:•14881505027552682304,
