$1590-$1710 Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Georgia or compact state) BLS Certification (required prior to first shift) ACLS Certification (required prior to first shift) Minimum 2 years of bedside clinical experience as an RN Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience preferred Medical-Surgical (Med/Surg) nursing experience highly desired Med/Surg RN Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments for all patients within 8 hours of admission Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the electronic health record Participate in patient rehabilitation programs and discharge planning from admission Communicate changes in patient status to the healthcare team to ensure continuity and patient safety Supervise and provide direction to Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), and orientees Promote patient and employee safety by adhering to hospital policies and procedures Contribute to positive team building and a supportive work environment Assume charge nurse responsibilities as requested after orientation Engage in ongoing professional development and continuing education
