Job Posting: Purchasing Coordinator
Position Overview : We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Purchasing Coordinator to join our team. This role will be responsible for procuring, tracking, and managing inventory for doors, trim, and stair parts. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in purchasing or supply chain, preferably within the construction industry, and a solid understanding of procurement processes.
Key Responsibilities : Procure, track, and manage inventory for doors, trim, and stair parts Maintain accurate purchase orders and ensure timely material deliveries Coordinate with vendors and internal teams (sales, operations, inventory) Monitor material availability and anticipate future material needs Build and maintain strong vendor relationships, negotiate pricing, and evaluate supplier performance Resolve any order, delivery, or invoice discrepancies Support procurement and inventory process improvements Qualifications :
2+ years of purchasing or supply chain experience (preferably in construction materials) Knowledge of doors, trim, millwork, or building materials Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills Preferred :
Familiarity with takeoffs and working with contractors or home builders Understanding of freight logistics, lead times, and vendor negotiations
