JOB DESCRIPTION
Collaborate with plant and corporate departments to identify significant improvement areas and develop projects based on those opportunities.
Develop, prioritize, and execute continuous improvement initiatives aligned with organizational and plant goals.
Assess and enhance business performance by analyzing current practices, developing process improvements, and implementing workflow, structural, and team changes.
Plan and facilitate continuous improvement events using Lean Six Sigma tools, support plant initiatives, and participate in Kaizen events supporting Tremco's MS168 philosophies.
Support production staff in understanding and implementing lean principles and change management strategies for successful adoption of improvements.
Lead cross-functional teams to identify root causes and implement corrective actions for sustainable improvements.
Conduct semi-annual audits.
Analyze data related to processes, safety, operations, and maintenance to inform decisions.
Utilize knowledge of governance systems, Kaizen, 5S, visual management, and SMED to improve site efficiencies.
Motivate and influence teams to participate in continuous improvement efforts.
Manage cross-functional projects, ensuring timely completion within budget and objectives, and report on progress and savings.
Coach teams on Lean Six Sigma tools and methodologies.
Use data analytics to make data-driven decisions and demonstrate improvements.
Review operational data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and insights.
Promote a culture of continuous improvement organization-wide.
Maintain performance dashboards and reports.
Stay updated on industry best practices and incorporate them into the organization.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree in Process Management, Operations, or Engineering preferred.
Four to seven years of related experience or training.
Experience in manufacturing, preferably in Chemical or batch manufacturing.
Ability to interpret technical and regulatory documents and communicate effectively.
Problem-solving skills with limited standardization.
Mathematical proficiency in fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions.
Preferred Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher certification.
Legal ability to work in the United States without sponsorship.
This position is bonus eligible.
