Mergers amp Acquisitions Attorney

A prestigious law firm is seeking a Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) Attorney with 4-6 years of experience to join its team. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in M&A transactions, including drafting and negotiating documents, managing deal processes, and overseeing junior associates. The position offers opportunities to handle sophisticated M&A matters for high-profile clients. Location Chicago, IL Duties Draft and negotiate definitive and ancillary documents for M&A transactions. Manage deal processes and maintain client relationships. Supervise and mentor junior associates. Handle day-to-day demands and workflow requirements for a variety of M&A-related matters. Provide strategic legal advice on complex M&A transactions. Requirements 4-6 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions. Strong understanding of M&A transaction structures, including due diligence, negotiations, and post-closing matters. Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. High level of academic achievement from a nationally recognized law school. Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills. Education J.D. from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials. Certifications Admission to the State Bar (preferably Illinois). Skills Expertise in drafting and negotiating M&A documents. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
