Travel Surg Tech - $1,547 per week in Webster, TX

Job Title: CST/ORT Profession: CST/ORT Specialty: OR Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00-07:00) Experience: Minimum 1 year License: RN; CST Certifications: BLS; ACLS Must-Have: Must have CVOR experience, specifically with open hearts and vascular procedures. Description: The unit consists of 3 operating rooms. The unit may require coverage for 1-2 additional operating rooms. There are a total of 14 staff members on the unit. During the day shift, the team includes 1 Pre-Op RN, 1 Charge RN, and 3-4 RNs along with 3-4 Surgical Technologists. There are no staff on the night shift. The patient ratio is 1:1. Standard surgical equipment and electronic medical records system is utilized. Typical procedures include CABG, valve replacements, ascending aorta replacement, ECMO, TAVR, vascular angiograms, fistulagrams, open bypass, EVAR, and vascular access catheters. The ideal candidate is highly motivated and can thrive in a fast-paced environment. Rotating on-call shifts are required on weekdays, along with one weekend per month. Hospital laundered scrubs in ceil blue are provided for attire. Candidates must possess BLS and ACLS certifications. Candidates with endovascular experience are preferred.
