A well-established law firm is seeking a
Litigation Attorney
to play a pivotal role in managing civil litigation cases from start to resolution. This position offers the opportunity to handle
personal injury matters
at every stage, from
case intake through settlement negotiations and trial advocacy . The ideal candidate is a
motivated, detail-oriented professional

Oversee and
direct all aspects of civil litigation cases , from initial case evaluation to resolution. Conduct
in-depth investigations
to assess liability, damages, and the strength of potential claims. Negotiate settlements with
insurance providers, defense attorneys, and opposing counsel
to secure favorable outcomes for clients. Draft and file
legal pleadings, discovery documents, motions, and case-related correspondence . Prepare for and take
depositions of clients, witnesses, and experts
to build a strong case foundation. Represent clients in
court proceedings, including trials, hearings, mediations, and arbitrations . Take a lead role in
trial preparation
and act as
first-chair attorney
during jury trials. Maintain
clear and consistent communication
with clients, ensuring they are informed and supported throughout their case. Qualifications & Experience:
Juris Doctor (J.D.)
from an accredited law school. 1-4 years of litigation experience , with a preference for candidates familiar with
personal injury law . Licensed to practice law in
Missouri
(Kansas licensure is highly preferred). Strong
legal research, writing, and courtroom advocacy skills . Ability to
work both independently and collaboratively
in a high-energy legal environment. Highly
organized and capable of managing multiple cases efficiently
while maintaining accuracy. A
client-focused approach , demonstrating compassion and dedication to achieving the best results. Exceptional
time management, analytical, and problem-solving skills . Must be a
self-driven professional
