Position Summary:

Boulder City Hospital is seeking a

Per Diem Unit Clerk / Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA)

to join our

Medical/Surgical Unit . This dual-role position combines the responsibilities of a CNA with essential unit clerk duties, supporting both direct patient care and administrative functions to ensure seamless unit operations and excellent patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Certified Nurse Assistant: Assist patients with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, ambulation, nutrition, toileting) Provide comfort and emotional support to patients and families Assist nursing staff with examinations, treatments, and vital signs Maintain infection control and safety standards Respond appropriately to patient needs and emergencies As a Unit Clerk:

Maintain patient records and unit documentation accurately Coordinate communication between nursing staff, physicians, and departments Answer phones, route messages, and greet visitors Transcribe physician orders and enter data into electronic health records Support organization and coordination of unit operations Qualifications:

Current CNA certification (Nevada) 1-2 years of experience

in Med/Surg, Rehab, Geri Psych, or Long-Term Care preferred CPR certification

(current or scheduled to complete) Telemetry Certification Strong understanding of emergency protocols and personal protective equipment Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-centered environment Proficient in basic computer skills and hospital communication systems This is a Safety Sensitive Position , requiring attention to personal and patient safety at all times Benefits (for eligible roles):
