Duties: Defend and litigate lawsuits involving employment-related claims, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and contract disputes. Represent clients in administrative proceedings, mediations, arbitrations, and court cases. Advise and train employers on compliance with labor and employment laws. Handle matters related to non-compete agreements, employment torts, and class/collective actions. Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs. Conduct legal research and stay updated on evolving employment law regulations. Requirements: Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. At least 2 years of experience in employment law or a related legal field. Active and in good standing membership with the Wisconsin State Bar. Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws and administrative procedures. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple cases in a fast-paced environment. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities. Education: JD from an ABA-accredited law school. Certifications: Active Wisconsin Bar membership is required. Skills: Legal research and analytical skills. Litigation and trial preparation experience. Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities. Ability to provide strategic legal advice to employers.
