Project Controls Analyst Capital Infrastructure (Utilities Focus)

Overview: We are supporting a transformative Utility Infrastructure Upgrade program to meet the escalating energy demands of hyperscale data centers in the Bay Area. This initiative includes complex transmission and substation upgrades critical to regional energy resilience and grid modernization. We are seeking multiple Project Controls Analysts with strong backgrounds in capital deliveryespecially those with experience on complex infrastructure programs such as major highway builds, skyscrapers, underground rail systems, or high-speed railroads. Prior experience in the utility sector is preferred, but not required. What Youll Do:

Provide integrated project controls support (cost, schedule, risk, performance) across multiple capital infrastructure projects Develop and maintain detailed schedules using Primavera P6 or equivalent tools Monitor project budgets, track expenditures, and ensure alignment with financial forecasts Create and maintain Earned Value Management (EVM) metrics, cash flow projections, and change order tracking Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, procurement, and finance teams to ensure accurate reporting and risk mitigation Prepare dashboards, executive reports, and KPI summaries for internal and external stakeholders Assist in optimizing project delivery strategies and identifying cost or schedule variances early Who You Are:

37+ years of experience in project controls, capital program delivery, or related roles Experience supporting large-scale, complex infrastructure projects (e.g., utilities, transportation, high-rise construction, major public works) Strong skills in cost management, scheduling (Primavera P6, MS Project), and performance analytics Familiarity with utility delivery environments or regulatory-constrained projects is a plus Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and project controls tools; familiarity with SAP, EcoSys, or similar systems a plus Benefits and Perks:
